Government expenditure is expected to continue increasing over the medium to long term, driven mainly by three areas: expansion in healthcare infrastructure, improvements to public transport and the development of Changi Airport Terminal 5.

To help Singaporean families with their costs of living, the following measures will be implemented under Singapore Budget 2015.
1. Enhancements to GST Voucher Scheme
2. Service and Conservancy Rebates
3. Personal Income Tax Rebate
4. Carbon Emissions-Based Vehicle Scheme (CEVS)
5. Petrol Duty and Road Tax Rebate
6. Early Turnover Scheme
7. Foreign Domestic Worker (FDW) Levy

To foster a spirit of giving, we will:
1. Enhance Tax Deduction.
For donations made in this Jubilee Year, tax deductions will be increased to from 250% to 300%. We will also extend the 250% tax deduction for donations, which will expire at the end of 2015, for another three years till the end of 2018.
2. Encourage a Culture of Giving from Young.
We will donate $20,000 to each school to use for the causes that they identify. This initiative will be extended to Polytechnics and ITE, for which the Government will donate $150,000 and $250,000 respectively on behalf of each institution.
